Ingredients
15 boiled potatoes
1 medium sized onions
50 gms ginger
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/8 tsp ajwain / carom seeds
1/4 cup coriander / cilantro
2 cups wheat flour
vegetable cooking oil
water for batter
butter
1/4 tsp garam masala
For the Stuffing :
1) take a skillet / bowl add boiled and peeled potatoes
2) add 1/4 cup of chopped onions
3) 1/8th cup of chopped ginger
4) add 2 chopped green chillies
5) 1/2 tsp of coriander seeds
6) add 2 tsp of salt
7) 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder
mash the potatoes along with the above mixtures
For the Dough :
1) In a bowl add 2 cups of wheat flour
2) add 1/2 tsp of salt
3) 1/8th tsp of ajwain / carom seeds
4) add 1 tsp of veg. cooking oil
5) 1 and 1/4 of water (55% of water to wheat flour)
6) knead the above mixtures to prepare dough
For the Parathas :
1) stuff the wheat flour balls with the potato stuffing
2) make into balls and using rolling pin roll round parathas
3) heat up a pan add some oil or butter and cook parathas
4) serve with curd and pickle topped with butter , en
