Ingredients
500 gms curd
15 mint leaves
1/4 cup boondi
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp roasted jeera powder
1 cup water
Instructions
1) soak the boondi in water for 4 mins and keep aside
2) take curd in a bowl and whisk by adding salt
3) gently keep pouring water and whisking until right consistency
4) muddle mint leaves and add to the bowl of curd and whisk
5) drain the water from soaked boondi's and squeeze water off boondi's
6) add the strained boondi's to the curd and mint bowl
7) gently mix and garnish with roasted jeera/cumin powder and mint leaves
serve chilled, enjoy !
Notes
Tip : Do not add too many boondi's or too much mint, raita should have more of curd, coz, when i travel across India especially at hotels' my observation is they add too much of everything rather than curd !
